David Stobbe I'm a Chicago based Actor, Singer, and Writer hailing from under the power lines of Joliet, Illinois. Which is known for its prison, and high school symphonic bands. I'm a graduate of Columbia College with a B.A. in Musical Theater, and I've had the pleasure to work across Chicago, with companies such as Monsoon Media, Tangerine Dreams, Mariott Theater, Kernel Productions, Take Care Productions, Nashville Children’s Theater, First Floor Theater, Lifeline Theater, Artigianale Films, Theo Ubique, Steep Theater, A Red Orchid Theater, The Black Ensemble Theater, and more. I’ve produced projects which have gone from intimate Chicago apartments, to the Minnesota Fringe Festival. As a writer I've had original solo pieces and poems featured with Scout & Birdie, Pages Per Content. With a strong devising background, I have worked as a performance artist with the Museum of Contemporary Art, and assist in script development. When not acting or singing, I am an architectural tour guide with Wendella Sightseeing. I’m a sucker for fishing, driving across the country, bonfires, and movies with my brother.
